In a previous post, I mentioned how Cookina and Colman’s have teamed up together to highlight summer grilling. Now it is time to put the Colman’s Mustard to use.
Talk about your awesome flavors!!! You need to make this. NOW!
This recipe uses Colman’s Dry Mustard in conjunction with a few other spices and some thin-sliced chicken breasts to create a tangy and flavorful dish. If you are in the US and haven’t seen Colman’s, take a stroll in the “International” aisle of your local grocery store. If you have any products from England (Tea Biscuits, HP Sauce), you’ll find Colman’s there.
This is such an easy recipe to make.
Add the Colman’s Dry Mustard and other spices and rub it on the chicken.
Grill and eat!
Sweet and Savory Grilled Chicken
Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 4 servings
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons light brown sugar
2 teaspoons dry mustard (I used Colman’s Dry Mustard)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper or freshly ground black pepper
1-1 1/4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast (I used thin sliced breasts)
Directions:
1. Combine brown sugar, dry mustard, onion powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
2. Coat both sides of chicken with the rub up to 30 minutes before grilling or broiling.
3. Preheat grill to medium-high.
4. To grill: Oil the grill rack (see Tip). Grill the chicken, turning once, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 165°F, 4 to 8 minutes per side (much less if you use thin sliced breasts).
