The other day The Ranting Wife looked over to me with a slightly embarrassed look on her face. She started, “I think I want to do something a little weird”.
I was instantly intrigued.
Strawberry picking. She wanted to go strawberry picking. Because our boys are older, she thought it might be a little strange for a couple of adults to go picking. Not weird at all and not where I thought she was headed!
Cranberry-Pear Salad
Delicious summer salad.
No strawberries here, but a lot of this needed to be picked never the less.
A quick dressing.

Cranberry-Pear Salad
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons cranberry sauce
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
5 ounces baby greens
2 sliced pears
1/2 cup diced cheddar
salt
Directions:
Whisk 3 tablespoons each cranberry sauce and olive oil, 1 tablespoon orange juice and 1 teaspoon each honey and Dijon mustard. Toss with 5 ounces baby greens, 2 sliced pears, 1/2 cup diced cheddar, and salt to taste.
